The COVID Project

Attorney referral

Talk to an attorney about your ERC claim

The COVID Project is a reference site, not a law firm. When a business needs counsel, The COVID Project can connect it with an experienced tax attorney for IRS examinations and Appeals, the IRS's "notice of claim disallowance" letters, and refund litigation in the district courts and the Court of Federal Claims.

Where the referral goes

The COVID Project works with Civil Counsel Group LLP, a law firm that handles IRS Appeals and refund litigation for employers, and with other experienced tax practitioners where a matter calls for one. The attorney or practitioner contacts you directly, decides with you whether to take the matter, and any engagement is between you and them. The introduction costs you nothing.

Every field is required unless it says optional.

Quarters claimed (optional)

The letter's date and number, the quarters at issue, the amount claimed, or a deadline you know of. Do not send taxpayer identification numbers, tax returns or claim files here; the attorney will ask for what is needed.

Your name, company, email, phone, State, the stage of the matter, the quarters, your notes, your authorization, the time and your connection's address are recorded and, with your authorization, passed to the firm. How they are kept.

The COVID Project is a public reference. It is not a law firm and this page is not legal advice. The attorney or practitioner you are introduced to decides with you whether to take the matter; no attorney-client relationship exists until you engage one.
