Office-based employees at all TxDOT locations have been directed to telework temporarily and are available to answer citizen calls and inquiries regarding TxDOT-related business.... In-person public meetings and hearings have been postponed, except for our monthly Texas Transportation Commission meeting. Until further notice, Commission meetings will be conducted virtually.... Ferries continue to run on their regular schedule at this time but may be reduced based on demand. Drivers are asked to remain in their vehicle.
Enforcement
GA-08 penalties (Tex. Gov't Code § 418.173: fine up to $1,000, confinement up to 180 days); agency telework directive; facility closures
Notes
The State DOT's own record of GA-08's gathering limit applied at rest areas, of its statewide telework directive and of the postponement of in-person project meetings and hearings. Implementing rule under order; graded context for the service statements.
