What it required

Every food establishment operating in Phase 2 'Must' post face-covering and distancing signage, ensure staff and customers wear face coverings, space tables six feet apart, disinfect tables and high-touch surfaces, seat all guests, take reservations for table service, cap guests at 60 percent of fire occupancy, provide disposable menus, keep self-service and buffets closed, adhere to the Food Code and follow DPH guidance including employee health screening and return-to-work criteria; every requirement is stated with 'Must.'

Retrieval note

The capture date is Aug. 30, 2025 but the document is the DPH revision dated 'Revised 6.15.2020' on each page; the same URL was linked from the State's Phase 2 page in July 2020 (Ex. DUT-DE-016). The Phase 1 predecessor ('DPH Phase I Reopening Guidance for Food Establishments,' rev. May 26, 2020) was not separately retrieved.
