Operative words
The law enforcement authorities of the state and the political subdivisions thereof shall enforce the orders and rules issued pursuant to ss. 252.31-252.90.
Penalty
The penalty enforced is s. 252.50 (second-degree misdemeanor)
What it required
Every State and local law enforcement authority was under a statutory command to enforce the Governor's, the Division's and the political subdivisions' COVID-19 orders; the Governor's FAQ of Apr. 3, 2020 (Ex. DUT-FL-017) told businesses the order was enforced 'By law enforcement' and that violations by a business were to be reported to 'Local law enforcement.'
