What it required
Every county or multiple-county board of health shall investigate contagious disease within its jurisdiction, adopt measures to arrest its progress, and 'make all necessary sanitary and health investigations and inspections'; the certified local health departments enforced the executive orders and IDPH's section 690.50 as 'enforcing entities' under 690.50(d).
