Operative words
A person who, in any case or under any circumstances not otherwise specially provided for, willfully resists, delays or obstructs a public officer in discharging or attempting to discharge any legal duty of his or her office shall be punished:... 3. Where no dangerous weapon is used in the course of such resistance, obstruction or delay, for a misdemeanor.
Penalty
misdemeanor (NRS 193.150: 6 months and $1,000) where no weapon is used; gross misdemeanor or category C felony where a dangerous weapon or firearm is involved
What it required
Makes it a misdemeanor to willfully resist, delay or obstruct a public officer (a health officer, a licensing inspector, a Nevada OSHA compliance officer, a peace officer) discharging a legal duty, the provision the Governor's Directives recited as the criminal penalty for defying a Directive (Directive 007, Ex. NV-009; Directive 024 s. 10, Ex. NV-019).
