Operative words
A person commits an offense if the person violates this chapter or a rule adopted under this chapter.... An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $10 or more than $200.... (c) Each day of a continuing violation is a separate offense.
Penalty
Misdemeanor: $10 to $200; repeat within a year: $10 to $1,000 and up to 30 days' confinement; each day a separate offense
