Operative words

In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, PLEASE USE TRANSIT FOR ESSENTIAL TRAVEL ONLY.... Effective April 18, 2020 at 7:00 a.m. to reduce the spread of COVID-19, all riders using public transit including local bus, light rail, metro subway, commuter bus, MARC Train and Mobility/paratransit service are [required] to wear face coverings.... MDOT MTA will implement service reductions on all vehicle modes effective Wednesday, March 18. Effective April 14, local bus service will operate on a base Saturday schedule Monday through Saturday... Effective April 6, all nine Express BusLink routes... and LocalLink 38 and 92, which primarily serve schools that are now closed, are temporarily suspended... MDOT MTA will implement rear-door boarding on all bus routes... Light Rail... on weekdays... will operate on a Saturday schedule... Metro Subway... Saturday schedule... State office buildings have been closed to the public. As a result, the Transit Store located at 6 St. Paul Street in Baltimore will be closed beginning Monday, March 16.
