Operative words

2. This Regulation shall take effect at 12:00 a.m. on April 13, 2021, and shall remain in effect until amended, superseded, or rescinded by the Knox County Health Officer and Health Director or upon the expiration of Executive Order 77.... 15. This Regulation is intended to replace Knox County Board of Health Regulation 2020-1, which is due to expire upon the dissolution of the Knox County Board of Health on April 13, 2021.

Notes

Recitals: 618 confirmed deaths and 41,922 confirmed cases in Knox County as of April 7, 2021; the Attorney General confirmed that local health officers confronted with an epidemic have the power, indeed the obligation, to establish appropriate control measures; as of April 7, 2021 the foregoing authority remains in effect.
