Operative words
The State of Tennessee has developed statewide guidelines for the following types of facilities. Each type of facility is required to follow all applicable state guidelines... 1. Restaurants... all restaurants shall close at 10:00 pm. This means that guests who are already in the restaurant at 10:00 p.m. may remain there until 10:30 p.m. but may not be served food or beverages after 10:00 p.m. Only staff needed to close, open, or clean shall be in any restaurant between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
Enforcement
Health Department directive; supersedes all prior written or oral Health Directives
Notes
Converts the Governor's Economic Recovery Group sector guidelines (restaurants, recreation, exercise facilities, salons and barbershops) into mandatory conditions in Shelby County and adds the 10:00 p.m. restaurant closure.
