Operative words

WHEREAS, on August 17, 2021, Palm Beach County declared a local state of emergency ("Declaration of Emergency") due to the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which has been extended in seven (7) day increments in accordance with applicable law; and WHEREAS, on August 23, 2021, pursuant to the Declaration of Emergency, Palm Beach County issued Emergency Directive 2021-A, which required hospitals to produce daily operational reports to the County...; and WHEREAS, at its October 19, 2021 regular meeting, the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners unanimously voted to terminate the local Declaration of Emergency, along with Emergency Directive 2021-A.... 2. The local Declaration of Emergency is hereby terminated. 3. Emergency Directive 2021-A is hereby terminated. 4. The foregoing is effective immediately.
