Operative words

I. FACIAL COVERING IN PUBLIC REQUIRED, EXCEPTIONS. A. As used in this Order, the term "Facial Covering" shall have the meaning set forth in Miami-Dade County Emergency Order 20-20, as amended. B. All persons in the City of Miami are required to wear a Facial Covering at all times while in any public space. C. Exceptions. The following persons are not required to wear a Facial Covering: 1. A child under two years of age; 2. An individual who has one or more medical conditions or disabilities that prevent wearing a Facial Covering; 3. An individual who is obtaining a service involving the nose or face...; 4. An individual who works in a profession where use of a Facial Covering will not be compatible with the duties of the profession; 5. An individual who is engaged in outdoor work or exercise with appropriate social distancing in place; 6. An individual who is eating or drinking; and 7. An individual who is hearing-impaired or an individual who is communicating with an individual who is hearing-impaired. The above Local Emergency Measures shall take effect immediately upon the signature of the City Manager. All requirements of this Local Emergency Measure, Miami-Dade County Emergency Orders, and State of Florida Executive Orders shall be strictly adhered to at all times and enforceable pursuant to Florida Statutes and the Code of the City of Miami.
