Operative words
Effective Thursday, July 29, 2021, face coverings will be required to enter and in common spaces of all Jefferson Parish Government Buildings. This includes both vaccinated and unvaccinated members of the public and all Jefferson [Parish employees].... Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has extended the statewide mask mandate through October 27, 2021 to further slow the spread of COVID-19 following the state's worst surge of the pandemic.
