Operative words
The Nineteenth Judicial District Court will remain closed until 8:00 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2020.... All dockets are cancelled except as follows: Emergency and time-sensitive matters as determined by the Court may be held by teleconference or video conference.... The EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH Clerk of Court's office will be physically closed during this same time period, except that it will be open only for emergency filings between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.... The Airline Highway location of the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court's office will continue to be opened during this period from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., for the purpose of receiving recorded documents/notarial acts only. There will be no admittance to the building.
