Operative words

Executive Order 1549, as amended and extended by Executive Order 1550, is rescinded and shall stand repealed. Duration: This Executive Order shall be effective at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021, and, except as otherwise provided herein, shall remain in full force and effect unless amended or rescinded... All business and non-profit entities operating within the State of Mississippi are encouraged to make reasonable, good-faith efforts to comply with the CDC's and Mississippi State Department of Health's regulations and guidelines... Face Coverings: For the remainder of the 2020-2021 academic year, every person in Mississippi shall wear a face covering, covering the nose and mouth, while inside a school building or classroom.

Ballotpedia (May 3, 2021): the Governor 'lifted all remaining coronavirus restrictions (including all capacity restrictions on sports and entertainment venues) except for the mask requirement inside schools'.
