Operative words
On April 15, 2020, the Gallatin City-County Board of Health adopted Emergency Local Health Rule (EHR) 2020-002 ordering the Quarantine of individuals with COVID-19 symptoms who have a test pending or who are identified as a close contact of someone who is a known case for COVID-19, and ordering the Isolation of individuals who test positive for COVID-19. The emergency local health rule was adopted to deal with COVID-19, an emergency situation affecting the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of Gallatin County and to provide for additional enforcement mechanisms provided under Section 50-2-124, Montana Code Annotated (MCA).
