Operative words
"Governor Murphy has issued a stay-at-home order effective March 21, 2020. Essential state government operations will continue. All New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission agencies, road testing, and inspection facilities remain closed to the public as a measure to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, until Monday, March 30, 2020. Headquarters (TOC) and online services will continue operations. Essential Personnel should report to work as previously directed. All driver licenses, non-driver IDs, vehicle registrations, and inspection stickers expiring before May 31 have been extended by two months. Most renewals, replacements, changes of address, and other transactions can be processed online at NJMVC.gov. If your REAL ID Appointment was cancelled due to Agency closure from March 16, 2020".
Enforcement
Agency closure; statutory extensions of expirations
Notes
