Operative words
This guidance... applies to all persons regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status, unless otherwise indicated.... Screen everyone (patients, HCP, visitors) entering the healthcare facility for symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or exposure to others with suspected or confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection and ensure they are practicing source control.... Universal Source Control for HCP: HCP should wear well-fitting source control at all times while they are in the healthcare facility, including in breakrooms or other spaces where they might encounter co-workers.... Universal Eye Protection for HCP: HCP should wear eye protection during patient care encounters...
