Operative words
Leadership and staff have continued to closely monitor the situation regarding COVID-19 following updates and recommendations from the CDC, the WHO, as well as state and local governments. We never want to risk exposing people in our workforce to a situation where they could be compromised and unable to provide hospice and palliative care for an extended period of time. With the growing number of registrant and speaker cancellations, as well as the numerous institutional travel restrictions in place, our leadership has determined that it is in the best interest of all not to move forward with the meeting.
