2020: Closed by order of the City of Houston on Mar. 11, 2020 after eight of twenty days, at 4:00 p.m. that day. 2021: Rescheduled to May 4-23, 2021, then cancelled Feb. 3, 2021: "after much consultation with local and state officials and medical experts, Rodeo officials concluded that cancelling the 2021 event was the right decision, with community health at the forefront of the decision"; junior livestock and horse shows held in March 'as private events' (Ex. SEC-06-GM-037; KHOU, Ex. SEC-06-GM-017). Usual dates: March 3-22, 2020 (twenty days); 2021 re-set for May 4-23, 2021. Scale: about 2.5 million attendance in a normal year (reported); 35,000 volunteers (organizer release, Ex. SEC-06-GM-037).
