2020: Mardi Gras 2020 (Feb. 25) held before the orders; Louisiana's first cases followed on Mar. 9, 2020 (context). 2021: No parades; bars closed and package alcohol sales, Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street pedestrian access restricted Feb. 12-17, 2021 under the City's Mardi Gras Restrictions (Exs. MET-MSY-020, -021); gatherings capped at 10 indoors and 25 outdoors under Modified Phase Two (MET-MSY-019). Usual dates: Carnival season to Mardi Gras Day, Feb. 16, 2021 (Feb. 25, 2020 held before the orders). Venue orders 2020: MET-MSY-017, LA-025.
