Operative words
"After careful consideration, the State Bar of Texas has canceled the 2020 Annual Meeting scheduled for June 25-26 in Dallas. While the COVID-19 pandemic prevents us from holding an in-person Annual Meeting this year... we believe it is necessary to cancel it this year to protect the health and safety of our members, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors, volunteers, staff, and other attendees as we continue to follow guidance and directives from public health officials."
