Operative words
On March 13, Governor Greg Abbott declared a State of Disaster in Texas for all Texas counties in response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. During the State of Disaster, oil and gas operators may request a waiver for regulatory requirements from the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC). The waiver requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Any waiver requests pertaining to a district office's regulatory requirements should be emailed to the district director and assistant district director of the district where the well is located.
Enforcement
Case-by-case waiver of Commission regulatory requirements
