Operative words

This protocol and its requirements below are specific to Music, Television and Film production. In addition to any conditions imposed on the Music, Television and Film industries by the State, and agreements among labor and management, these types of businesses must also be in compliance with the conditions listed in this Checklist for the Music, Television and Film Industry. Productions that are one or limited-time special events or performances must submit an event safety plan for review at least 10 business days before the event is planned to occur... Audiences for Music, TV, or Film Production must follow the Protocols for Indoor and Outdoor Seated Live Events

Enforcement

Violation of a Health Officer Order is a misdemeanor punishable by fine, imprisonment or both (Cal. Health & Safety Code s. 120295; L.A. County Code s. 11.02.080), recited in the parent Health Officer Orders (MET-LA-006, MET-LA-009, MET-LA-012)

Notes

The parent orders closed the region to on-location filming Mar. 20, 2020 (SEC-25-005) and reopened production June 12, 2020 only under this protocol (MET-LA-006, as revised); every later County order carried Appendix J (MET-LA-009: 'Appendices T1/T2... J (film/TV)'; MET-LA-012 Dec. 30, 2020: 'film and TV production under Appendix J'). The saved text is the May 27, 2021 revision;
