Enforcement

DSHS rule 25 TAC § 97.7 (mandatory exclusion); GA-38; local health department notification requirements

Notes

The 2021-22 school-year rules in force in 2021 Q3: mandatory exclusion of positive students and staff, parental and health-department notification, optional testing, 10-14 day stay-home for close contacts; school-district mask mandates operated in fact from mid-August 2021 while TEA declined to enforce GA-38's mask provision

Retrieval note

TEA's Aug. 5 and Aug. 19, 2021 versions (the Aug. 19 version first announced non-enforcement of the mask provision) not separately saved.
