Notes
Gives CDC school mitigation strategies (including masking and quarantine) the force of State law for the 2021-22 year; the VDH FAQ (VA-044) describes the Aug. 12, 2021 order as reinforcing 'current state law, which requires Virginia schools to adhere to mitigation strategies outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention'.
Retrieval noteEffective date of July 1, 2021 is the default for the session and was not stated in the text read; the act's approval date is Mar. 30, 2021.
