What it required
Every employer operating within Indiana comply with the adopted federal standards, which are the 'occupational health and safety standards promulgated under this chapter' that Ind. Code 22-8-1.1-3.1 commands 'Every employer shall comply with' (Ex. DUT-IN-005), including the PPE (Subpart I), sanitation (1910.141), respiratory protection (1910.134) and recordkeeping standards IDOL identified as applying to COVID-19 (Ex. DUT-IN-014).
Retrieval noteGraded verified_secondary because the text is read in the Legal Information Institute's mirror of the Indiana Administrative Code rather than in the Indiana Register's own compilation (iar.iga.in.gov is a script-driven portal that refused fetching; the legacy iac.iga.in.gov PDF endpoint now redirects to it). The rule's text is the Commission's adoption by reference of the federal standards published in 1971; later federal standards are adopted through IOSHA's continuing incorporation under Ind. Code 22-8-1.1-16.1 (also in Ex. DUT-IN-005). The misspelling 'Concensus' is in the compiled text.
