Operative words

a local governing entity may adopt a schedule of monetary civil penalties of not more than $1,000.00 for each violation or day that the violation continues which may be assessed for a specified violation of this code or a rule promulgated, regulation adopted, or order issued which the local health department has the authority and duty to enforce.
