Operative words

Some changes and exceptions in the modified orders include recommendations for screening employees for potential illness at various types of businesses.... The Wyoming Department of Health recommends the following COVID-19 illness screening questions for businesses to use with employees

Penalty

None (guidance); where an order itself required screening ('Staff must be screened at the beginning of their shift for symptoms of illness', Order #3 Third Continuation, Ex. WY-014), the duty and the 35-1-106 penalty came from the order

What it required

Nothing of its own force: the Department 'recommends' screening questions (fever, cough, shortness of breath, contact with a case) and states that an employee answering 'yes' 'should be' sent home; it states that the modified orders effective June 15, 2020 'include recommendations for screening employees' and directs 'Questions regarding enforcement and interpretation of closure orders' to the County Public Health Office.

Retrieval note

Recorded as a recommendation because its text says so. The earlier edition (April 30, 2020) was linked from the WDH orders page as archived May 9, 2020 (not saved). The document's own characterization of the June 15 orders as including 'recommendations' for screening is recorded exactly; the mandatory screening clause is pleaded from the order that contains it (WY-014).
