Operative words
Clark County today announced the end to the County's COVID-19 Emergency Declaration, which was declared on March 15, 2020.... This included administrative leniency in the enforcement of ordinances, rules, regulations, purchasing and other government functions.... The declaration allowed for needed flexibility in staffing levels and assignments. (County release.) 'Whereas, on March 15, 2020, the Clark County Manager declared a state of emergency related to the prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 virus and related provisions' (CCC 3.04.065 ordinance recital, MET-LAS-026).
