Operative words
Whereas, the State of Minnesota peacetime emergency declaration was terminated by action of the Governor and State Legislature effective Thursday, July 1, 2021, which would otherwise immediately terminate the local public health emergency in the City of Minneapolis; and Whereas, the Mayor and City Council find there is public benefit to extending the period of local emergency within the City of Minneapolis in order to provide a planned, phased elimination of its Emergency Regulations... the City Council does hereby extend the Declaration of Local Public Health Emergency... which shall remain in force and effect in the City of Minneapolis through September 30, 2021.... 1. Emergency Regulation No. 2020-5... is extended to September 30, 2021... 3. Emergency Regulation No. 2020-13 easing a number of zoning and licensing regulations specific to restaurants and bars is extended to September 30, 2021... 4. Emergency Regulation No. 2020-20 setting rules for third-party food delivery platforms and services is extended to September 30, 2021... 5. Emergency Regulation No. 2020-21... shall be continued through December 31, 2021.
