Operative words

Effective 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020, and continuing until further notice... 1. All persons are to remain in their homes or at their place of residence, except for employees or customers traveling to and from essential businesses or reopened businesses... 2. All 'gatherings,' as defined in section 15 below, that do not comply with the requirements of the California Department of Public Health Guidance for Private Gatherings... are prohibited.

Enforcement

Health & Safety Code § 120295; Emergency Regulations: 'Any person who violates or who refuses or willfully neglects to obey this regulation is subject to fine, imprisonment, or both. (Government Code section 8665.)'

Notes

The County moved to the Purple (Widespread) tier effective Nov. 14, 2020; the Blueprint chart incorporated by this order closed indoor dining, indoor gyms, indoor worship and indoor personal care and limited retail to 25 percent. Scanned file; the operative text was read by OCR.
