2020: CMS QSO-20-12-All (Mar. 4, 2020, revised Mar. 23, 2020) suspended non-emergency survey inspections and prioritized infection-control and immediate-jeopardy surveys; The Joint Commission suspended all regular surveys from March 16, 2020 (its notice is in the retrieval queue). 2021: Surveys resumed with COVID-19 protocols (2020 Q3 onward).
