2020: Cancelled June 4, 2020, 'For the first time in its 53-year history'. 2021: Held Sept. 28-Oct. 2, 2021 (after Dane County's capacity orders ended; not verified). Usual dates: Late September to early October (2020: Sept. 29-Oct. 3). Scale: 'The annual event welcomed more than 62,000 attendees from nearly 100 countries in 2019' (organizer release).
