Operative words

1. Gatherings of ten (10) people or more are prohibited in order to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health of the public. 2. 'Gatherings' are any planned or spontaneous event, public or private, bringing together, or likely bringing together, ten (10) people or more in a single room or a single confined space at the same time.

Notes

Para. 3 exemptions: hotels for lodging, livestock auctions, worker transport, government and correctional facilities, relief facilities, residential buildings, grocery and convenience stores and pharmacies, truck stops and auto repair, retail where more than ten may be present but are generally not within six feet, health care facilities, treatment centers, long-term care. Para. 5: exceptions by County Health Officer on written showing of six feet of spacing and cleaning. Para. 7: supersedes county orders; more restrictive county provisions continue.
