Operative words
April 21, 2020... So, in an effort to continue to ensure the safest possible working environment during our normal operations we will begin taking temperatures at all access control points for non-containerized traffic. We anticipate beginning the temperature taking later this week. This will be done with a 'No touch' thermometer. Any person with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be turned around and not allowed on terminal.... March 23, 2020 As of March 23, 2020, the GPA Credentialing Center is open but operating under modified conditions.... Effective immediately, Credentialing will only service one visitor at a time.... March 13, 2020... GPA Board and staff travel has been temporarily restricted, except when required, and all travel to infected areas, curtailed.
Enforcement
Denial of terminal access ('turned around and not allowed on terminal') under the GPA Terminal Tariff and MTSA facility security plan
Notes
Access-control conditions at the fourth-largest U.S. container gateway; the page also records that Savannah's 'Normal, 24-hour vessel operations... continue' under those conditions.
