Operative words
Every person who having been lawfully ordered by any health officer to be detained in quarantine and not having been discharged leaves the quarantine grounds or willfully violates any quarantine law or regulation, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
Penalty
Misdemeanor (21 O.S. 10: county jail up to one year, fine up to $500, or both, where no other punishment is prescribed; the general misdemeanor sentence was not separately retrieved)
What it required
Every person must obey a health officer's quarantine order and every quarantine law or regulation; willful violation is a crime, which gave the Board of Health's and health officers' COVID-19 quarantine and isolation directions criminal force independent of any executive order.
