Operative words
Indoor gatherings at private residences... are limited to a maximum of 10 people. Outdoor gatherings at private residences... are limited to a maximum of 25 people.... Indoor gatherings at event venues or in public settings are limited to a maximum of 25 people.... [outdoor at venues] 100 persons in Lower Risk Communities... 50 persons [elsewhere].... All gatherings, no matter the size or location, must end and participants must disperse by 9:30 pm, with the exceptions of religious gatherings and political gatherings.
Enforcement
Civil fine up to $500 per violation under St. 1950, c. 639, s. 8, assessed on the organizer, host or property owner, each person over the limit a separate violation, administered under G.L. c. 40, s. 21D; injunction; ABCC license suspension; mandatory reporting of positive cases and cooperation with contact tracing
