Operative words
In response to the recent changes in COVID health safety requirements the 20th Judicial District shall be making the following changes to court operations with changes starting June 1, 2021. A. District Court In-Person Hearing Requirements. District Court Criminal Divisions (4 & 6) and Division 13 (including probation complaints, juvenile, treatment court) appearances are presumed to be in person, starting June 1, 2021, for: 1) In-custody defendants 2) Defendants entering pleas 3) Sentencing hearings 4) Motions hearings 5) Preliminary hearings 6) First appearances after posting bond on a failure to appear warrant 7) Arraignments with pending CJS bond supervision complaints 8) Jury trials... B. District Court WebEx Video Appearances. WebEx appearances are authorized for: [listed matters]
