Operative words
Every person in Mississippi shall wear a face covering, covering the nose and mouth, while inside a business, school or other building or space open to the public, or when in an outdoor public space whenever it is not possible to maintain a minimum of six feet of social distancing from another person not in the same household, except face coverings are not required for the following: [eleven enumerated exceptions, including medical conditions, eating or drinking, security screening, swimming, exercising, school athletic practices, speeches and performances, religious worship, children under six, and settings where a covering is not practical or feasible such as receipt of dental services]... This Executive Order shall be effective at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, and shall remain in full force and effect until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2020.
