Operative words

All bars and nightclubs open to the public for on-site consumption of beverages in Ada County are hereby declared under quarantine and must remain closed as to on-site consumption... except to perform Minimum Basic Operations. RESTRICTIONS: 1. Large venue gatherings in Ada County (concert venues, sporting venues, parades, festivals, etc.) are hereby prohibited. 2. Gatherings of more than 50 people, both public and private, should be avoided. 3. Individuals not residing within the same household shall maintain at least six-foot physical distancing... 4. All Ada County employers shall: A. Ensure measures are in place so that employees and customers maintain at least six-foot physical distancing...; B. Provide adequate sanitation and personal hygiene...; C. Frequently disinfect...; D. Visits to senior living facilities, the Ada County Jail and state correctional facilities are prohibited.

Enforcement

¶ 6: 'Violation of or failure to comply with this Order could constitute a misdemeanor punishable by fine, imprisonment, or both. Idaho Code § 56-1003(7)(c).'; ¶ 7 cities of Ada County may enact more stringent orders

Notes

Findings: infections traced to 'patrons and employees of Ada County bars and nightclubs'. Restaurants with approved reopening plans excluded, 'but does include closure of the bar portion of the restaurant'.

Retrieval note

Ada County notice (June 26, 2020) states the original order was declared void and the Board adopted a new order mirroring it; Boise Order 20-10 recites the reissue of June 26, 2020.
