Notes
2020: Held Feb. 24-27, 2020 in Atlanta, 'the last major event to happen in the trucking industry' before the orders (Braswell). 2021: Annual Meeting converted to a virtual Spring Meeting (Apr. 12-15 and 19-23, 2021) without exhibition; exhibition, awards and officer installation moved to the Fall Meeting Sept. 12-16, 2021 at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland. Reason: 'It was originally scheduled for Orlando in March 2021, then we moved it to April, but it just wasn't possible... A great many of our members, especially the medium- and large-sized companies, had travel restrictions, all the way through July 1.'. Usual dates: Late February-March (2020: Feb. 24-27, Georgia World Congress Center; 2021: planned Orlando March, moved to April, then virtual Apr. 12-15 and 19-23 with the exhibition Sept. 12-16 in Cleveland). Scale: 'we typically have 5,000 attendees, a 500,000-square-foot trade show' (TMC Executive Director Robert Braswell, Transport Topics, 2021). Venue orders 2020: GA-001. Venue orders 2021: FL-047, MET-ORL-009, MET-CLE-010, FED-020, FED-021. Also cancelled by this notice: TMC Fall Meeting with TMCSuperTech (National Technician Skills Competition) and TMCFutureTech (Raleigh, NC; usual dates Mid-September (2020: Sept. 14-17, Raleigh Convention Center; 2021: Sept. 12-16, Cleveland); venue orders 2020: NC-016, NC-017, NC-011; venue orders 2021: MET-CLE-010, FED-020, FED-021).
